Product overview:
The lithium-ion battery stacking machine is one of the necessary machines for lamination & stacking cells manufacturing process. The brief operating process of the lithium-ion battery electrode stacking process is as follows.
The two sets of robotic suction cups of the battery cell stacking machine remove the anode electrode and cathode electrode from the two incoming cassettes and place them into the corresponding electrode positioning modules for precise positioning. In the meantime, the rolled battery separator uses a constant tension control mechanism for active unwinding. Thereafter, the slide moves the battery separator reciprocally from side to side, while the robotic suction cups pick up the electrodes from the electrode positioning modules for lamination & stacking.
Scope of application:
This semi-automatic battery stacking machine can perform Z-fold stacking of single battery electrodes and rolled battery separators. This battery cell electrode lamination and stacking process is available for pouch cells and prismatic cells.
Features:
1) Fast stacking speed
The stacking speed of the battery stacking machine is up to 1.2s~1.6s/layer.
2) High alignment accuracy of stacking
Precise positioning of electrodes is ensured by equipping two electrode positioning modules. The overall alignment accuracy of all electrodes in the lamination & stacking process is ≤±0.3mm.
3) High alignment accuracy of battery separator
The battery separator uses a constant tension control mechanism for active unwinding, and is also equipped with a deflection correction system on the electrode stacking machine, with a stacked battery separator alignment accuracy of ±0.3mm.
In addition, the battery separator is eliminated static electricity by the equipped ionic fan.
4) Gently battery electrode stacking process
Compared to the cylinder-controlled electrode stacking mechanism, the servo motor-controlled electrode stacking mechanism with the spring-type knife press mechanism can significantly reduce the pressure on the battery separator and electrodes. By adopting such a design, the battery cell stacking machine can avoid damage to battery separator and electrodes.
5) Dust protection during electrode stacking process
A vacuum module is equipped at the electrode positioning modules of the battery cell stacking to remove dust before the electrodes are stacked. In addition, the battery electrode stacking machine is equipped with a transparent outer cover for further dust protection.
6) High flexibility, easy to change electrode models
The electrode incoming cassettes, electrode positioning modules and stacking module are equipped with positioning pins. When changing electrode models, simply insert the molds into the corresponding positioning pins, so that model switching can be easily achieved. With this design, the lithium-ion battery stacking machine is highly flexible and can be adapted to the battery electrode manufacturing process for different types of battery cells.
7) Anti-vibration design for better accuracy
The lithium-ion battery electrode stacking machine uses heavy-duty anti-vibration foot pads to effectively absorb the vibrations generated when the equipment is running at high speed. This further ensures the alignment accuracy of the stacks.
8) Double incoming cassettes design for higher stacking efficiency
The incoming anode electrode cassette and incoming cathode electrode cassette of lithium battery stacking machine are both double cassettes designed for non-stop feeding and automatic cassette switching when there is no material.
